Reflecting on 2024

As I scroll through the photos on my phone, I’m struck by how much has happened in the past year—moments big and small, captured in the freeze-frame of a snapshot. You know I love taking pictures and adding them to my albums. There’s the laughter shared with friends over a delicious meal, the quiet moments of solitude where I found peace in a sunrise or a walk down the road. There are family gatherings, milestones, and even the unexpected twists that taught me resilience (like my knee surgery).

2024, in many ways, has been a year of reflection. There have been moments of joy, certainly, but also times when I’ve felt challenged, uncertain, or worn out. I think about the pictures that show my tired eyes after a long day, the ones where I’m smiling but holding the weight of unspoken emotions. Yet, even those moments—especially those moments—tell a story of strength, of perseverance, of learning to show up for myself even when things felt heavy.

As I look toward 2025, I want to hold on to what 2024 has taught me. I want to remember that I am enough, even when I’m not perfect. And so are you. I want to continue to embrace the quiet, the stillness, and the time I need to recharge. I want this for you too. But I also want to step into this new year with intention. (Are you going to join me?) I want to chase the dreams that have been quietly waiting for me, take the risks I’ve been too afraid to take, and embrace the discomfort that comes with growth.

I’ll carry with me the lessons of this year: that progress is not always linear, that it’s okay to take my time, and that I am surrounded by a community of strong, beautiful women who inspire me every single day.

Here’s to 2025. May it be a year of stepping into our full power, of showing up for ourselves in ways we never thought possible. And may we look back at the end of this next year with even more love, grace, and gratitude for everything we’ve experienced.

With love,

PS. I am hosting a goals/Intention setting Zoom class on Jan 6 @ 10:30am EST. If you are interested in joining please text me to get the zoom link info. This is a free class.
